Departing from Boulder, your guide will take you into the park through Beaver Meadows and across Trail Ridge Road before exiting on the quieter west side via Kawuneeche Valley. Along the way, we’ll search for wildlife such as elk, bighorn sheep, and marmots while visiting some of the park’s most scenic locations. Explore the full itinerary and tour details below.

Pickup in Boulder
Begin your day with pickup in Boulder before heading toward Rocky Mountain National Park in a comfortable touring vehicle.

Historic Lyons Café Stop
Enjoy a short stop in the red-stone town of Lyons, where guests can grab coffee before entering the mountains.

Beaver Meadows Visitor Center
Enter Rocky Mountain National Park through the Beaver Meadows entrance area, surrounded by dramatic foothills and iconic mountain scenery.

Wildlife Viewing in Rocky Mountain National Park
As we travel deeper into the park, we actively search for wildlife such as elk, mule deer, moose, coyotes, and black bears (when conditions allow).

Trail Ridge Road
Journey along Trail Ridge Road, one of the highest continuous paved roads in North America, climbing above treeline into the alpine tundra ecosystem.

Alpine Visitor Center & Continental Divide
Stop near the Alpine Visitor Center and Continental Divide for panoramic views and opportunities to spot alpine wildlife including bighorn sheep, marmots, and pika.

Sprague Lake Walk (Time Permitting)
Enjoy a short and easy lakeside walk at Sprague Lake, featuring beautiful reflections of the surrounding peaks and forest.

Return to Boulder
After a full day exploring Rocky Mountain National Park, relax on the scenic drive back to Boulder.

Pickup/Drop-off
We offer flexible pickup and drop-off options to ensure your experience is convenient and stress-free. We’ll meet you at your hotel, Airbnb, or another mutually agreed location. Pickup is available in Boulder, with service from Denver and surrounding areas upon agreement.
